Amaretto 14B is a fine-tuned language model by AmarettoLabs, built for literary writing and writing assistance. It is fine-tuned from Ministral 3 14B Instruct using QLoRA. Amaretto 14B is the largest and highest-quality model in the Amaretto line — the strongest prose quality of the three sizes, at the cost of needing more capable hardware to run than the 3B or 8B models. In hands-on testing it also showed the most consistent identity behavior of the three sizes, correctly holding its ground under direct contradiction rather than capitulating to a false claim.
